  • Cultural Shift – Created through development of the skill of Situational Leadership / People Management for a top IT Telecom company
  • OD Consulting assignment to Control Attrition at a large Indian MNC, Baroda
  • Was assessor for an Assessment Centre for Promotion, Job Rotation, Transfer, Role change for a known organization in Wind mill energy sector.
  • Was part of Assessors team for a series of Development Centre for one of the Steel giant.
  • Lead a prestigious long term OD consulting assignment for recruitments and culture building at a Pharma MNC in Manesar. A two year-long project was managed completely. Headed the full life cycle of the assignment with a team of Assessors.

Worked on several projects, like:

  • Did several Benchmarking Surveys on a) OD Function, b) Reward and Recognition, c) L&D practices, d) Retention processes in IT industries
  • Brought about major changes in R&R function of IT giant and headed the Award process and grand celebrations with small teams.
  • Managed the Engagement Surveys and post survey action planning
  • Developed the Training Division, designed the complete Training function as per ISO guidelines and had set up the online system for Training function for Bayer ABS

Projects Details:

Learning & Development:

As head of Soft – skill training vertical, her responsibility was to manage the training budget for soft skills, creation of budget, manage the budget and manage the team of soft skill trainers and staff.

Decision related to the training calendar preparation based on the training need identification plus the adhoc training needs shared by SBUs was a major responsibility.

Also, designed Training programs for employees on following topics:

  • ‘Self-Discovery’ for the junior and middle level IT professionals based on Enneagram. This training has been on demand and a hit among the soft skills trainings in the company.
  • One day training on Mentoring and Coaching for Managers.
  • Redesigned various trainings.
  • Delivery of soft skill sessions for junior, Middle and Managerial levels in the organization. On an average, around 10 days of soft skill sessions were delivered.
  • Conducted sessions on Personal Effectiveness through Goal setting and Time Management, Conflict Management for Managers, Business communication skills – Verbal and Written, Presentation Skills, Leadership Alpha and Beta for engineers and new managers.
  • Conducted sessions on Psychometric tools, uses and linkage with HR Systems.
  • Built and established long-term relationships with clients for In-house training programs.
  • Handled open house workshops in Delhi and Pune, wherein, managed the advertisement campaign for the workshops, Designing training programs, designing the course outline, developing the handouts, and presentations.

Assessment Centers

  • Major responsibility was to function as Assessor in in-house Assessment Centre conducted on demand for Multinational companies.
  • Designed the Assessment process and activities involved in the same.
  • Designed the Assessment Process and acted as Assessor in the Assessment Centre for Enercon India Ltd. Daman

Psychometric Testing 

  • Have in-depth understanding of International level of Psychometric tools & very good knowledge of linkage of results of psychometric tools with the HR systems and its usage for training need analysis, performance appraisal, etc.

Organizational Development

Headed the OD function and was responsible for following:

Engagement Survey – Lead the major activities as a part of the survey process.  Oversaw the co-ordination and internal support to the external vendor. Co-ordinated and represented OD team during the report presentations in front of the top management.

Was also responsible for driving the organization wide Action planning based on the findings.

Reward and Recognition - Studied the existing system, conducted dipstick surveys on the effectiveness of current system. Based on the finding, initiated some changes in the existing system and introduced a new policy to enhance recognition culture in the organization. Provided solution to day to day issues faced by the Biz HR in use of the RnR processes and the online tool.

Managed the company wide grand celebration of Rewards with a small team.

Attrition and Retention – Conducted a benchmarking study of retention processes in IT industries.

Other HR Consulting projects

Involved at all levels of various Consulting projects undertaken by the organization, like: Climate Survey, Culture Survey, HR Manual preparation, etc.

Some Of The Large Client Projects:

  1. Attrition control at L&T, Baroda, Gujarat – Handled the large project independently. Lead a team of 6 data collectors and did comprehensive study on factors leading to Attrition. The study was based on climate survey of the organization.
  2. Preparation of HR Manual for a software firm in Mumbai.
  3. One of the prestigious and massive assignment handled with a team of Assessors for conducting more than 60 Assessment Centres for a Pharma company based in Manesar. Headed the entire need study and recommendation of design of Assessment Centre.
  4. Managed a large project on “Assessment Centre for Competency Mapping’ for Jindal Steel. Managed a team of 9 people consisting of Assessors and junior staff.
  5. Single handedly designed an Aptitude Test for Aditya Birla (Aptitude Test for recruitment of Quality professionals). The validity and reliability was later tested and is found to be highly effective test.

Some other initial assignments and achievements:

  • Designed the Performance Appraisal System, which consisted of three forms for different levels, which would also form the basis of Training Need Identification.
  • Designed HR Manual and policies related to Leave, Appraisal, Training, etc.
  • Designed an Induction Manual and imparted training to several new comers under their induction program.
  • Designed the Training Manual and developed Training Programs as per the training needs of the organization.
  • Developed a Training Calendar and implemented Training Plan accordingly.
  • Designed a Feedback System on Training Programs, as also a system for follow up on the same.
  • Developed and implemented on-line training monitoring system.
  • Developed a 'Learners Forum' of the managers of the organization to inculcate knowledge sharing and skills up-gradation.
  • Formed a team of internal trainers for technical training - ITTs. Trained the team members on ‘Instructional Design and the effective training skills’.
  • Formulated and implemented an Individual Development Plan for manager level

Due to my excellent performance, got the role of Internal Quality Auditor for ISO.

Was also a member of the Environment Management System Committee.

As a result of excellent performance, the training period was reduced to just 5 months, from the usual period of 12 months
